This policy explains what SiteGuard (“we”, “us”), operated by [Legal entity name], collects and how we use it. We keep it short and we don't sell your data.

1. What we collect

• The website you submit — the address you ask us to check, and the results of that check.
• What your site serves publicly — the pages, code, and responses a visitor would receive. We record only what we need to produce your report.
• Purchase details — if you buy a report, your payment is processed by Stripe. We receive a confirmation and a receipt; we never see or store your full card number.
• Usage and device data — basic analytics (pages viewed, actions taken) and cookies, to understand and improve the Service.
• Messages — anything you email us.

2. What we do not do

We run a read-only check from the outside. We do not log in to your site, submit your forms, change your data, or read your private databases or customer records. We only look at what your site already shows the public.

3. Who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted providers to run the Service:

• Amazon Web Services — hosting and storage of scans and reports.
• Stripe — payment processing.
• Anthropic — part of the scan sends your site's publicly-served code to Anthropic's Claude AI to analyze it for weaknesses. Only the public code is sent, never your private data.
• PostHog — product analytics.

We don't sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law.

4. How long we keep it

We keep a scan and its report so you can return to the link. You can ask us to delete your scans, reports, and personal data at any time — email hi@trysiteguard.com and we'll take care of it.

5. Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and opt out of analytics cookies through your browser. To make a request, email hi@trysiteguard.com.

6. Cookies

We use a few cookies and similar technologies for analytics and to measure whether our ads work. You can block cookies in your browser; the Service will still run.
